# What is Childcare Compliance NZ?

> An overview of the CCNZ platform and how it helps NZ early childhood centres stay compliant.

Childcare Compliance NZ (CCNZ) is a compliance management platform built specifically for New Zealand early childhood centres. It replaces spreadsheets, paper records, and disconnected systems with a single place to manage everything your centre needs to stay compliant with the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008 and the April 2026 licensing criteria.

## Why it was built

ECE compliance is complex. Centre managers are responsible for tracking staff police vetting, teacher registrations, first aid certificates, pay parity obligations, incident records, hazard registers, emergency drills, fire evacuations, and 80+ licensing criteria — all at the same time, often across multiple centres.
