Business Settings is where you manage the core details of your organisation on Childcare Compliance NZ. Find it at the bottom of the sidebar.

Organisation

Your business’s legal and trading details:
  • Legal name — the registered legal name of your business entity
  • Trading name — the name your centres trade under
  • NZBN — your New Zealand Business Number

Contact & Address

Your business contact details and primary address. These are used across the platform where your organisation’s contact information is needed.

Branding

Your logo and brand colours are applied across the app and PDF exports. If left unset, the default Childcare Compliance NZ theme is used. Upload your centre or business logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG — max 2 MB, recommended 260×65px). Your logo appears in the sidebar, on PDF exports, and in transactional emails.
Use a logo that stays legible on a coloured background — one with its own light or solid background, or light artwork on a transparent background. Use Send myself a test email to check how it looks before saving.

Brand Colours

Set a primary and accent colour to match your centre’s brand. A live preview shows how your colours will appear across the app — header, buttons, links, and navigation. If your chosen colours may be difficult to read, the platform will flag a warning so you can adjust before saving. Click Reset to CCNZ default at any time to revert to the standard Childcare Compliance NZ colour theme.

Preview Your Branded Email

Use Send myself a test email to receive a sample candidate invitation email showing your logo, colours, and footer. The email goes only to your own account email address — no candidates are contacted.
