Vacancies are the starting point for recruitment in CCNZ. Before you can add a candidate, you need a vacancy for them to apply for. This keeps your recruitment organised — candidates are grouped by the role they’re applying for, and you can see the full pipeline for each position at a glance.

How vacancies work

Each vacancy represents a role you’re recruiting for at a specific centre. A vacancy has a status — Open (actively recruiting) or Closed (recruitment finished or paused) — and can have notes attached for internal context. Candidates are linked to vacancies. When you add a candidate or receive an application, you attach them to the relevant vacancy. A candidate can be linked to more than one vacancy if they’ve applied for multiple roles. The Vacancies list shows all your vacancies grouped by status, with a count of candidates at each stage for each open role. Clicking into a vacancy shows the full candidate pipeline for that position.

Closing a vacancy

When recruitment for a role is complete, close the vacancy. Closed vacancies move out of the active list but remain on record — you can still access them and their candidates. Vacancies can be reopened if needed.

Who can access Vacancies

Vacancies are accessible to admins and users with HR access. Staff without HR access don’t see the HR section of the sidebar.
