The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in to Childcare Compliance NZ. It gives you a live view of what needs attention across your entire business — so nothing falls through the cracks.
Summary Strip
At the top of the dashboard, three summary tiles give you an at-a-glance picture of your business:
- Centres — the number of centres registered under your business
- Team members — the total number of staff across all centres
- Modules — the number of compliance modules enabled for your account
These are read-only and update automatically as your data changes.
Alert Cards
Below the summary strip, the dashboard shows a live feed of compliance alerts — one card per module. Each card surfaces the most important status information for that module and links directly through to it.
Click Open on any card to go directly to that module.
Only cards for modules enabled on your account will appear on the dashboard.
Your Modules
Below the alert cards, the Your Modules section shows all the compliance modules available to your business with a brief description of each. Use this as a quick reference or shortcut to navigate directly to any module.
My Tasks
At the bottom of the dashboard, My Tasks shows all outstanding actions assigned to you across every module — with the centre name, module, and due date. Overdue tasks are highlighted in red.
Tasks are created automatically by the system when actions are required — for example, when a fire evacuation deficiency is logged, or a maintenance request is raised.
