The ERO Audit Prep module pulls together evidence from across the platform and gives you a single view of your readiness for an Education Review Office review. It sits on top of the Compliance Register — your readiness score is driven by how far through the register you’ve worked.

The readiness dashboard

The ERO Audit Prep dashboard answers the question: how ready are we right now? At the top, an overall readiness score shows the percentage of your 80 licensing criteria that are marked as Compliant or Not Applicable. Below that, four domain cards break the score down by standard — Curriculum, Premises & Facilities, Health & Safety, and Governance & Management — each colour-coded by how far through you are:
  • 🟢 Green — 80% or more of criteria in this standard are compliant
  • 🟡 Amber — 50–79% compliant
  • 🔴 Red — fewer than 50% compliant
The dashboard also shows:
  • Open corrective actions — any criteria with outstanding actions that haven’t been completed
  • Key upcoming dates — next drill due, next policy review due, next RS7 attestation due, next police vetting expiry

The self-review tool

The self-review tool walks you through all 80 criteria in sequence, standard by standard. For each criterion you can see the full criterion text, your current compliance status, any linked evidence, and your notes — and update them without navigating away. A progress indicator shows how many criteria you’ve reviewed in your current session. When you’ve worked through all four standards, the tool shows a summary of any criteria still Under Review or Non-Compliant, so you know exactly what still needs attention before an ERO visit.

What the module doesn’t do

The ERO Audit Prep module reflects the compliance status you’ve recorded in your Compliance Register. It doesn’t make compliance judgements on your behalf — if a criterion is marked Compliant, that’s because you’ve assessed and recorded it that way. Keeping your register up to date is what makes the ERO dashboard meaningful.
ERO Audit Prep is available to compliance users. Only admins can activate and deactivate ERO Visit Mode.
